I’ll be the first to admit that I am not big on celebrities nor do I really care if they #breaktheinternet but because of my job what they wear matters. Solange and I are not friends, I don’t know her life and when news broke about her wedding I was surprised as I didn’t even know she was engaged. Basically, she didn’t call nor invite me but I was busy anyway. It’s cool, I’m not mad. Like many women though, I rushed to see what she wore. You see, I may not know her life, what she does now-a-days or what not but we all know when it comes to style this is the sister that makes them bow down. Sorry Bey. Unsurprisingly, she slayed. Slayed: v. to impress. Her various outfit changes, the whole party in all white (or ivory), the bikes…I cannot even but my favorite was the jumpsuit. The jumpsuit was the one look that most talked about, they either loved it or hated it. I, for one, loved it. Obviously, we don’t have Knowles-Ferguson budgets, well at least I don’t, I don’t know your life but I’m sure we would all love to see more jumpsuits walking down the aisle. Check out this one from David’s Bridal.
No it is not identical but I’m sure if you find Solange to be a style inspiration, you’d rather be inspired by and not copy. If I were to get married again (my husband has turned down many proposals so that is obviously out of the question), I’d love this halter lace jumpsuit in champagne from David’s Bridal. Wouldn’t be a bad idea for a new holiday look though to wear with a bold red lip and some festive shoes. At $199, I’m sure this style will sell out quickly.
Which of her many wardrobe changes were you most into?
