This long weekend was the non-official start of fall, despite what the summer lovers may say. My goal was simply to go through the box of shoes in the garage that have been there since last Spring but instead, with my husband and my oldest out of town, I hit up the DVR. I got really into Greenleaf and got a bit hooked. Whoops. But now that we are back to reality, I’ve been hit with a nasty cold. Yesterday was rough and today I woke up feeling like my throat may close up. But the show must go on. I’m swamped today with back to back work and then we are meeting with someone to remodel our bathroom, once my husband and I can agree which one of my designs would work best. Nope, I am not an interior designer, but this is my house. Aside from that, here are a few more things on my plate this week.
I also plan on listening to this podcast sometime tonight. I’ve heard great things about it and it would be so convenient. Does anyone listen to podcasts? Any favorites?
Ordering a new sweater for fall because non-official start remember? I really like this one but do I really need more black? Maybe.
When we went to Paris last year, those two weeks, felt much longer. Truth is, we winged the entire trip. While we had a general idea of what we wanted to do there were no solid plans. And so it actually felt like a vacation. According to this study, we were on to something. I’d like to plan another trip soon, even if local.
My husband turns 35 this weekend, and surprisingly I am having a hard time getting him anything. I mean, what do you get a guy who has everything AND hates to spend? Maybe I’ll just put a bow on myself. Any other ideas are welcomed!
